Of course 20-20 hindsight is the safest way to predict an election, but in spite of the risks (1. being wrong, 2. being lambasted) I wanted to go on record with my personal views before Tuesday. For anyone interested in reading a thoughtful, substantive piece about the differences between Clinton and Obama, I would recommend George Packer's <a href="http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2008/01/28/080128fa_fact_packer" rel="nofollow">recent article</a> in The New Yorker. Thanks for that, Hecate. They don't like her. They've done just about all they can to hurt her politically. She certainly has grounds for some serious payback. She, if elected, will probably not do all that she can to get this payback, but Republicans will feel some pain.
